OpenAI and ChatGPT
The Future of AI
Since OpenAI released the introduction of it's new chat BOT, now known as ChatGPT, the internet headlines and water cooler talk have been hotter than Hell's Kitchen.
It took sometime, because the site was so busy, before I was able to register and have a conversation with the little devil, and I must say, it was quite human and remarkable. It did seem as though I was chatting with something that had DNA.
Trivial conversation started with the weather in New York City, and then I asked a question about Powershell, Microsoft's scripting and command line language, and it responded with, "would you like me to show you", sating yes, it wrote:
Write-Host "Hello, I am ChatGPT"
"Hello, I am ChatGPT" it went on and actually scripted a snippet of a Azure Active Directory code. Azure, it Microsoft's cloud technology and platform. I was in awe.
Shocked and dismayed, mostly because I am a developer, technologist, writer and a few other things. When does AI just take the place of programmers?
For writers, there are plenty AI driven writing application that can write your blogs for you, short stories and even news articles.
However, back to the trivial chatting. I had to chuckle a little beause it didn't know the Queen of England was dead. Go figure. Maybe it took a nap that week.
If this is the trend going forward, I fear, we humans are in for a rude awakening.
Your thought, feel free ...

I didn't know it could code?
